How to Submit Your Match Result
After every match, the home team captain is responsible for submitting the result. You can do this in two ways — whichever is easier for you.
Whichever method you use, please also email a photo of the completed scoresheet to nsblresults@gmail.com. This is required every week, in addition to submitting via the app or website — it’s our backup record and helps Peter resolve any queries quickly.

Option 1: Scan the Scoresheet (Recommended)
The fastest way to submit a result. Make sure your logged into to the website
1. Open the **NSBL app**
2. Go to the **Fixtures** tab
3. Find your match and tap **Enter Result**
4. Tap **Scan** in the top right corner
5. Take a clear photo of the completed scoresheet — make sure all scores and player names are legible
6. The app will read the scoresheet automatically and fill in the result
7. Check the details match your scoresheet, then confirm
If any names or scores look wrong after scanning, you can correct them manually before confirming — the scan is a starting point, not the final word.
## Option 2: Manual Entry
If you’d rather enter the result yourself, or the scan isn’t picking things up correctly:
1. Open the **NSBL app**
2. Go to the **Fixtures** tab
3. Find your match and tap **Enter Result**
4. Enter each player’s name and score directly
5. Double-check everything before confirming

## Don’t Forget: Email Peter Too
Once you’ve submitted via the app, **send a photo of the scoresheet to nsblresults@gmail.com** as well. Please do this every week, even if the app submission went smoothly.
This takes less than a minute and makes a big difference if a result ever needs double-checking later in the season.
